About Me
Hi, I’m Pia. I’m an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor based in California, with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with their strengths. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the lingering effects of trauma, supporting them in finding clarity, confidence, and a greater sense of balance.
I hold a B.S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and an M.A. in Counseling from Wake Forest University. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with mindfulness, self-compassion, and body-based tools, rooted in both neuroscience and lived experience.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years cultivating a personal yoga and meditation practice. Over time, I saw how integrating mind and body could support long-term emotional resilience not just in myself, but in the clients I served. That perspective shapes how I work today: practical, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel more grounded and empowered in your day-to-day life.
I’ve supported clients across a variety of clinical and educational settings, from teens navigating school stress and identity questions, to adults dealing with overwhelm, grief, or major life changes. I also bring experience from intensive outpatient work, where I specialized in anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery. In every setting, my goal has been the same: to offer a space where people feel seen, supported, and equipped with tools that actually work.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, burned out, or simply not yourself lately, therapy can be a place to get unstuck. My role is to walk alongside you as you clarify what matters most, strengthen your coping skills, and start living more in alignment with your values.
If you’re looking for a therapist who brings both clinical knowledge and a thoughtful, whole-person perspective, I’d love to connect.
