Pia von Strasser, MA, APCC
Holistic therapy for deep transformation and wellbeing - Integrating EMDR, somatic, and mindful self-compassion practices to help you thrive.
Welcome!
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” - Gandhi
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Pia, an associate therapist offering a compassionate space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating the challenges of being a teen or young adult, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it alone… healing is possible!
My approach honors the mind-body connection and blends evidence-based therapies like EMDR to work through past trauma, shift unhelpful beliefs, and support with emotional overwhelm and healing with mindfulness, self-compassion, and somatic or body-based techniques to foster a kinder, more nurturing relationship with your thoughts, feelings, nervous system, and body. Together we’ll work on releasing what no longer serves you, whether that’s anxiety, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, limiting beliefs, or old patterns, and help you build resilience, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.
I specialize in two main areas:
Trauma healing for all ages, using EMDR and body-based approaches to process past experiences and create lasting change.
Support for teens, college students, and young adults as they navigating identity, relationships, academic or career pressures, and life transitions.
Every person’s path looks different, and therapy is tailored to meet you where you are. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, balanced, connected, and empowered, I invite you to explore my services and book a free consultation.
